A.) Background
The professionalism of a non-profit is no longer exclusively assessed by transparency and fiscal accountability, but has broadened to include the efficacy of the people within the organization. A demand for professionalism has led to an increased emphasis on human resource management in the non-profit environment, because a human being is the largest investment an organization can make. Human resource management in a non-profit organization requires different approaches and methods than would a profit-oriented organization. A non-profit must consider organizational character, organizational culture, organizational values and relationships between people in order to craft an effective approach to non-profit management. Human resource management is not only related to the development of human capacity in a non-profit organization, but should be viewed more broadly, relating to the organization’s strategic thinking and decisions, the role of human resource managers, organizational needs analysis, job analysis, recruitment systems, leadership and staff motivation, capacity building involvement of staff, performance appraisal (performance evaluation of staff), as well as performance-based remuneration.

B.) The objectives of these participants are as follows:
1. Come to a better understanding of the role, function and potential abilities of a Human Resources manager.
2. Enhance participants ability to conduct workplace analysis, recruitment systems, employee motivation and staff engagement
3. Improve HR manager’s capability in performing appraisal, remuneration, trust and capacity building, and employee relations.
4. Enhance understanding of how to streamline management functions to best
5. Support the improvement of human resources in a non-profit environment.

E.) Facilitators
Experienced facilitator Mr. Methodius Kusumahadi, DCM, will lead this training. Mr. Meth earned a postgraduate degree in Cooperative Management from Loughborough University of Technology in Leicester, UK. He has 40 years of experience as an activist and an organizational leader, including 12 years of leading the community assistance unit with 35 PL and 125 cadres District, the Chief Representative of USC-Canada’s for 16 years, and a board member at Bina Desa for 10 years. He also founded and led SATUNAMA-Yogyakarta for 10 years, and since 2009 he has been the head of KARINA KAS. Speakers who are practitioners of human resource management in nonprofit organizations as well as other directors, chairman, and heads of non-profit organizations will support Mr. Meth.

F.) Criteria for Training Participants in this program are as follows:
1. Leaders, Chairman, manager, and coordinators of non-profits and H.R departments.
2. At least 25 years old.
3. Able to contribute IDR 3.000.000 per person towards accommodation, meals, and training expenses, with an initial payment of IDR 1.000.000 to be paid 1 week before start of training. Participants will bear the cost of transportation. The contribution can be transfered to bank account :

A. Latar Belakang
Profesionalisme organisasi non profit saat ini tidak hanya dinilai sebatas pada transparansi dan akuntabilitas keuangan, namun juga performance kinerja organisasi non profit yang bersangkutan yang diwujudkan dalam kinerja semua orang-orang yang ada dalam organisasi. Tuntutan profesionalisme inilah yang memunculkan pemikiran bahwa pengelolaan sumberdaya manusia sebuah organisasi non profit menjadi penting, karena asset dan investasi terbesar dari sebuah organisasi adalah manusia, terutama untuk Organisasi Non Profit.

Pengelolaan sumberdaya manusia dalam sebuah organisasi non profit pastilah berbeda dengan pendekatan dan cara yang dilakukan sebuah organisasi yang berorientasi profit. Karakter organisasi, budaya organisasi, nilai-nilai organisasi maupun relasi antar manusia di sebuah organisasi non profit mendasari pendekatan yang digunakan dalam pengelolaan sumberdaya manusia.

Pengelolaan sumberdaya manusia tidak hanya terkait dengan pengembangan kapasitas manusia di sebuah organisasi non profit, namun sudah seharusnya dipandang secara lebih luas yang mengaitkan dengan pemikiran dan keputusan strategis organisasi, peran manajer sumber daya manusia, analisis kebutuhan organisasi, analisis pekerjaan, sistem rekrutmen, kepemimpinan yang terkait dengan motivasi staf, capacity building serta keterlibatan staf, performance appraisal (evaluasi kinerja staf), serta remunerasi berbasis kinerja.

B. Tujuan

Tujuan yang hendak dicapai melalui pelatihan ini agar peserta:
1. Meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan peran dan fungsi manajer SDM.
2. Meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan melakukan analisis pekerjaan, sistem rekrutmen, motivasi dan staf engagement,
3. Meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan melakukan performance appraisal, renumerasi, trust dan capacity building serta relasi karya.
4. Meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan mengefektifkan fungsi-fungsi manajemen yang mendukung peningkatan sumberdaya manusia di sebuah organisasi non profit.

Fasilitator
Bp. Methodius Kusumahadi, DCM Pak Meth menyelesaikan Post Graduate Program dalam Cooperative Management di Loughborough University Of Technology, Leicester, Midland, UK tahun 1987. Berpengalaman selama 40 tahun sebagai aktivis dan memimpin organisasi: 12 tahun memimpin unit kerja pendampingan masyarakat dengan 35 PL dan 125 kader Kecamatan. Kepala Perwakilan USC-Canada di Indonesia selama 16 tahun. Menjadi Pengurus Bina Desa selama 10 tahun. Memproses pendirian dan menjadi Pengurus Yappika selama 10 tahun. Mendirikan dan memimpin SATUNAMA-YOGYAKARTA selama 10 tahun. Memimpin KARINAKAS sejak 2009 hingga saat ini. Konsultan untuk berbagai Departemen (BKKBN,PU,Koperasi, Transmigrasi) dan Lembaga Internasional (21 lembaga) maupun Lembaga Nasional (123 NGOs). Pak Meth akan didukung sepenuhnya oleh para narasumber yang merupakan para praktisi pengelolaan sumberdaya manusia di organisasi non profit maupun direktur/ketua/pimpinan organisasi non profit.

F. Peserta Pelatihan
Kriteria peserta pelatihan ini adalah :
1. Pemimpin, Ketua, Manager, Koordinator dari organisasi dan bidang kerja kerjanya
2. Usia minimal 25 tahun

G. Kontribusi

Kontribusi pelatihan Rp. 3.000.000,00 per orang sebagai pengganti biaya akomodasi, konsumsi, dan materi pelatihan.

Pembayaran :
– Satu Minggu sebelum training dimulai minimal Rp 1.000.000,00 dan dilunasi pada saat pelatihan. (mohon bukti transfernya dikirim via fax atau email kepada kami)
